Web Development Programme
Web Development Course with Practice Labs and Placement Support
Web Developer
Overview
The Web Development course is the web-development track at Career Catalyst Institute. The track description in the product is HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, APIs, databases, and Git, with the aim of building and shipping web applications. The default role stored for this track is Web Developer. The campus landing page describes the same arc: design and ship pages, then practise and apply from the placement desk.
After you create a student account, this programme sits inside the same CCI Academy login as the other three tracks. The campus already includes a student dashboard, learner profile, assessment hub, learning roadmap, course lessons, practice labs, a resume builder, a certificates vault, and a placement desk. Faculty use the admin campus for students, curriculum, assessments, placements, certificates, and mailbox. AI Mentor, Interview Prep, and Community Hub are routed in the product and marked as coming next; they are not live lesson tracks.
Two modules are written into the web seed script. Module 0 is Web Foundations (HTML and CSS): how the web works, static pages, and CSS. Its first lesson is Introduction to HTML and the Semantic Web, and the notes cover headings, paragraphs, links, images, div and span, plus the idea of semantic tags. That lesson is marked with a quiz and an assignment. Module 1 is Client-Side Programming (JavaScript). A repair script for the same slug uses the title JavaScript Fundamentals. The published lesson is JavaScript Variables and Functions, covering let, const, var, and a basic function. The assessment hub goes further than those two seeded modules: it scores HTML and CSS layout, core JavaScript, React, backend and databases, Git and development workflows, and developer communication.
Syllabus and modules
Seeded Module 0 teaches HTML as the structure of a page and CSS as the styling layer. The HTML and CSS assessment describes Flexbox, Grid, semantic layouts, responsive design, and styling rules. Seeded sample questions in the roadmap bank ask about CSS Grid for two-dimensional layouts, semantic HTML for accessibility and meaning, and rem units relative to the root font size. Seeded Module 1 teaches JavaScript variables and functions. The JavaScript assessment describes promises, async/await, DOM operations, ES6 array methods, and closures. Sample questions cover strict equality, Array.map returning a new array, and async/await as syntax over promises.
React, backend, and Git are assessment categories even though this repository’s web seed script does not add separate modules for them. The React category covers hooks such as useState and useEffect, component lifecycle, state, and routing. Sample questions cover the useState return pair, list keys, and lifting state up. The backend category covers REST APIs, basic Express or Node routing, and SQL or NoSQL CRUD. Sample questions cover HTTP 201, PUT, and the application/json content type. The Git category covers branching, pull requests, terminal commands, and deployment concepts. Sample questions cover pull requests, git merge, and the main branch. TODO: a published lesson-by-lesson React, backend, and Git syllabus beyond these assessment categories is not in the web seed script.
The campus landing page summarises the study arc as web foundations, JavaScript depth, React and APIs, and ship and portfolio. Topics listed there are HTML and CSS, JavaScript, React, REST APIs, SQL and databases, Git and GitHub, deployment basics, and portfolio projects. Outcomes listed there are module certificates, a resume headline for web roles, and live job applications.
Tools covered
Named in the web curriculum and assessments: HTML, CSS including Flexbox and Grid, JavaScript (let, const, functions, promises, array methods, DOM), React hooks, REST and JSON, SQL or NoSQL as described in the backend assessment, and Git with pull requests. Lesson activities can include notes, quizzes, flashcards, and assignments, as on the HTML lesson. TODO: a required editor, browser list, Node.js version, or hosting account is not published in this LMS. Browser Python labs are a separate track; this page does not claim those Pyodide labs are the web lab catalogue.
Duration, fees, and who can join
TODO: full course duration and total study hours are not published in this LMS. The seeded HTML lesson stores a duration of 15 minutes and the JavaScript lesson stores 20 minutes. Those are lesson fields, not the length of the course. TODO: course fee is not published in this LMS. TODO: batch timing and class schedule are not published in this LMS.
Both seeded web lessons are marked Beginner. TODO: a formal eligibility rule is not published in this LMS. Students join with an email signup or faculty-issued batch credentials, then set a primary programme on the learner profile.
Career outcomes
The role on this track is Web Developer. The product path is the same as the other programmes: category assessments, a roadmap built from the Web Development roadmap assessment, lessons, certificates, a resume PDF, and the placement desk. The web roadmap assessment covers HTML and CSS, JavaScript, React, backend, Git, and communication. TODO: placement rate, salary figures, and hiring-company names are not published in this LMS.
Placement support
The placement desk lists roles for Testing, Web, Python, and AI students. You can track Applied or Interested, keep notes, download certificates, and request an internship offer letter that faculty verify and email. Mail placements@cci.in.net for employers and info@cci.in.net for admissions. TODO: campus address is not published in this LMS. TODO: phone number is not published in this LMS.

FAQ
The web seed script publishes HTML/CSS and JavaScript modules. React, backend, and Git are assessment categories and landing-page topics. A full lesson-by-lesson React syllabus is not in that seed script.
